All caps… and I’m not kidding…
Let’s take a look at this wording here. I direct your attention to the statment at high velocity. Wow! High Velocity! When I hear the term “high velocity” I’m thinking 1850 fps (.357 sig round) or 1250 fps (9mm parabellum) not an arrow with a foam head. I don’t have a chronograph to check it, but after seeing the said “Dangerous Toy” in constant use here at the house, I can honestly say… “It Ain’t High Velocity”.
Whenever a five year old can shoot at his eight year old brother 15 feet away and he catches it in mid air left handed (Matrix style) I consider the toy basically safe. As far as the whole “Eye” thing is concerned, a paper airplane can put an eye out. How about a little personal reasponcibilty, and common sense!
To sum it all up:
When nerf crossbows are outlawed, only outlaws will have nerf crossbows.
